Quick Apple Cake
A quick and delicious apple cake that is simple to make. Perfectly sweetened with a hint of cinnamon and a touch of rum, it's a delightful treat for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 110 g sugar
- 125 g butter
- 3 eggs
- 200 g flour
- 1 packet (8g) baking powder
- 1 tbsp milk
- Zest of 1 untreated lemon
- Optional: Dash of cinnamon
- Optional: One packet vanilla sugar
- Optional: 1 tbsp rum
- 250 - 700 g apples
- Some butter
- To sprinkle: Powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 175 - 200 °C.
- Create a creamy mixture from butter, eggs, vanilla sugar, and sugar.
- Stir in the flour mixed with baking powder, milk, and grated lemon zest. Optionally, add some apple pieces and cinnamon to the batter.
- Pour the batter into a greased and crumbled springform or tart pan.
- Peel, quarter, and score the apples. Arrange them on top of the batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 - 50 minutes, depending on your oven.
- Sprinkle the cooled cake with powdered sugar.
- Enjoy your meal!
