Basque Cheesecake Recipe
Basque Cheesecake
A rich and creamy cheesecake with a caramelized top and a gooey center. This Basque-style cheesecake is easy to make and requires minimal ingredients.
Ingredients
- 300g full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 can (approximately 300g) sweetened condensed milk
- 3 large eggs
- 20g flour (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar (optional)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to a high temperature and line a cake pan with parchment paper or even better: try baking the cheesecake in a cast iron pan.
- Combine the cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, and any optional ingredients (flour, vanilla sugar, lemon juice) in a food processor.
- Blend the mixture until smooth, making sure to scrape the sides of the processor to fully incorporate all ingredients.
- Pour the smooth batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake the cheesecake for 15-18 minutes, until the top is caramelized and the center remains slightly underbaked.
- Allow the cheesecake to cool completely before serving. For the best flavor and texture, refrigerate for several hours before slicing.
